Acronis Cyber Protection Agent 15.x for Windows has been granted OPSWAT Platinum Certification for Anti-Malware in July 2021. This represents another step forward for our cyber protection technology, which had previously earned Gold Certification, and demonstrates Acronis’ continued focus on refining the effectiveness and compatibility of our solutions.
First launched in 2007, the OPSWAT Access Control Certification Program evaluates next-generation anti-malware and encryption products, assessing compatibility with leading access control solutions and their efficacy at protecting endpoints with a high degree of confidence.
Platinum-level certification in this program requires products to meet various criteria for compatibility and effectiveness. Since its release, Acronis Cyber Protect has featured capabilities that cover many of these requirements, including the ability to:
- Detect when the last full-system anti-malware scan was completed
- Provide real-time anti-malware protection even if network access is interrupted
- Enable effective remediation after an incident has begun
- Update anti-malware definitions frequently and in a timely manner
